Came in for a tooth extraction and what a great experience from walking in to walking out. Normally people like me are terrified of anything drilling in my mouth but I didn’t feel a thing, Dr. D has a very light touch. Excellent experience from start to finish!

I don't like writing this because I desire to support local and help them succeed, but after experiencing just getting questions answered to help me as the consumer decide, bottom line: find a place that values you as the client AND the source of the funding/insurance holder (which is part of capitalism). Can't give 1 star because I never actually went into the office, so that's not fair, but I can't honestly say it was even 3 stars, because it was very strange and even some curtness/rudeness. I can't think of a time I've had this much curtness from professional staff (and I've worked in retail before!). Unfortunately, I'm in a situation where I need to discuss Extractions/Implants, and am calling around to learn more from many offices. Yes, it's not ideal, but hey, I beat breast cancer...NOW I can refocus on my teeth! Based on all the 5 star reviews (and as a prominent Google Reviewer that knows the value of good reviewers), I called this place hoping to support local and not drive west to other parts of the East Bay. As others said, no one answers you have to leave a message, but they called back 30 min later (not ideal as I was in school pickup line so unable to answer, would be better for someone to answer but perhaps that's too picky?) so ok. Once I left a message again and they called back again (def not ideal), I was looking for insurance info and asking some questions to the staff that I had been asking other clinics all day. For example, I had been hearing from other clinics that they're moving away from titanium implants to ceramic implants, and the girl that called me (Amy) from the start seemed to be annoyed at answering any of my questions. That's a major red flag for me as I always research any decision involving several thousand of dollars! Amy's response was to tell me in all of her years of experience she had never heard of it, so I told her that's what I'm hearing from others. But instead of a "no, we recommend titanium" or "oh yeah? That's new to me!", she responded with an audible sigh and then silence to where I had to ask my question again. When my husband heard Amy's tone, he thought I should not waste my time anymore, but I thought perhaps Amy was just having a bad day, but she could turn it around, so I persevered. However, each question, she would pause and sigh audibly, paired with a response that made me feel like an idiot for even asking it. Now I'm no dental expert, which is why I'm calling places and asking them their opinions based on my initial diagnosis!, but calling places to see their prices and insurance options (some oral surgeons I called won't even take insurance!), which to me are reasonable questions to help me pick one. But each question (yes, I have complications but price for evaluations, insurance in-network, tooth extractions, and implants don't seem too complicated) was met with baited sighs and baited responses that almost made me ask her "am I bothering you??" or "are you having a bad day?" (which comes off as rude on this kind of call). Instead, I ended the call that almost left me in tears (if I didn't know that I can choose to NOT let Amy's bad day affect me), but it stinks to write this review! Additionally, seeing others' reviews of having curtains not walls in-between patients would also very concerning to me reading reviews, so perhaps I dodged a bullet. Bottom line: find a place that values you as the client AND the source of the funding/insurance holder.

I highly recommend Dr Dikran G. Deragopian for your any oral surgery.I just got my wisdom teeth remove today by him he is very professional and knowledgeable.Also before the procedure he explained me everything about the surgery and answer all my questions and concerns I had. Also all of his team are very friendly and knowledgeable as well. Overall wonderful experience. 10/10 would recommend.

The oral surgeon, Dikran Deragopian, was the best you could ask for and the staff was fantastic too! I would highly recommend Brentwood Oral Surgery & Dental Implants to anyone!
